Most conglomerates tend to be very large. But not all of them are. One good example of this can be seen by looking at National Presto Industries ( NPK ) , a firm with a market capitalization of only $741.6 million. Despite its rather small size, the firm plays in three different industries. These are the defense sector, the housewares and small appliances space, and the safety industry that focuses on protecting assets such as buildings, homes, occupants, and more. Recently, the company has been experiencing some nice growth. But in my last article about it, I was much more neutral on the business than I was bullish....
