Welcome to the May 2025 edition of Electric Vehicle [EV] company news.
The past month saw another solid month of EV sales reported for April. YTD sales to end April are up 27% YoY , slightly ahead of the Trend Investing forecast of 25% YoY growth for 2025.
So far in 2025 (YTD to end April) Tesla Model Y remains the world's best selling BEV , with Tesla Model 3 still in 2nd place; however the BYD Seagull (Dolphin Mini) at 3rd place is gaining ground. Just behind these are the Geely Geome Xingyuan, Wuling HongGuang Mini, and the Xiaomi SU7....
