The company experienced a 42.6% increase in total revenues year-over-year, reaching RMB 1,150.4 million (approximately US$164.5 million), largely driven by growth in both its Internet and AI segments.
The Internet business generated RMB 615.3 million (US$88.0 million), marking a 19.0% rise, while the AI segment achieved an impressive 84.7% revenue growth to RMB 535.2 million (US$76.5 million), now comprising 46.5% of total revenue, up from 35.9% in 2024. Gross profit also saw a significant boost, climbing by 53% to RMB 834.0 million (US$119.3 million), leading to an improved gross margin of 72.5%.
While the company posted an operating loss of RMB 179.4 million (US$25.7 million), this was a decrease of 59% compared to the previous year. Non-GAAP operating profit was reported at RMB 14.2 million (US$2.0 million), a turnaround from a loss in 2024. Notably, the Internet segment's adjusted operating profit rose by 82.8%, reinforcing its status as a stable revenue generator.
Cash and cash equivalents totaled RMB 1,506.6 million (US$215.4 million) at year-end, providing substantial liquidity. The fourth quarter specifically showcased a 30.3% year-over-year revenue increase, with the AI division nearly doubling its revenue year-over-year. Management underscored 2025 as a transformative year marked by improved operating efficiency and profitability within core segments, alongside robust developments in AI capabilities. A conference call to discuss these results is scheduled for March 24, 2026.
MWN-AI** Analysis
Cheetah Mobile's recent financial results for the fourth quarter and fiscal year 2025 reveal a significant pivot towards profitability, primarily driven by its AI segment. Revenue surged by 42.6% year-over-year, reaching RMB 1.15 billion (USD 164.5 million), with an impressive 84.7% growth in the AI and Others category, which now constitutes nearly half of total revenue. Such performance highlights the company’s successful shift to AI-driven products, including robotics and intelligent applications.
Yet, challenges persist, particularly within the Internet segment, where revenues dipped slightly year-over-year, signaling potential saturation or increasing competition. The continuing success of its AI initiatives offers promising avenues for investors. Moreover, the gross profit margin increased significantly to 72.5%, underscoring improved efficiency and cost management.
From a cash perspective, Cheetah Mobile closed 2025 with RMB 1.51 billion (USD 215.4 million) in cash, providing a buffer for continued investment in AI technologies and R&D. The company managed to narrow its net operating loss substantially, which indicates a healthier operational framework.
Given the current trajectory, investors should view Cheetah Mobile as a growth-oriented play, emphasizing its robust AI capabilities. The market's reception to such segments will be crucial. However, caution is advisable regarding the Internet business's stagnation.
It is prudent for potential investors to keep a close eye on Cheetah’s upcoming product launches and market expansions in AI. The firm looks well-positioned for sustained growth, but any indication of weakening in its digital services or competitive pressures could affect investor sentiment. A balanced interpretation of these emerging opportunities and threats will be crucial in navigating Cheetah Mobile's complex market landscape.

Management Commentary
Fu Sheng, Chief Executive Officer of Cheetah Mobile, commented: "2025 marked a turning point for Cheetah Mobile. We delivered revenue growth while meaningfully improving operating efficiency and achieved full-year non-GAAP operating profitability. Our robotics business, which represented approximately 18.9% of total revenue in the fourth quarter, increased 93.6% year over year and 42.9% quarter over quarter, showing strong growth momentum. We are expanding our robotic product portfolio with a consumer-facing smart wheelchair, leveraging our existing autonomous mobility technologies. Our internet business remained a stable cash-generating platform, supporting disciplined investment in AI-driven capabilities. Leveraging our long-standing utility product experience, we continued to enhance our AI agent products, with the introduction of EasyClaw, our AI coworker platform designed to help users create and deploy AI agents more easily. While monetization remains at an early stage, these initiatives are part of our long-term strategy to build sustainable growth engines."
Thomas Ren, Chief Financial Officer of Cheetah Mobile, commented: "In 2025, we continued to strengthen operating discipline and improve cost efficiency across the organization. Although we reported a GAAP operating loss for the year, operating loss narrowed significantly year over year. On a non-GAAP basis, we achieved operating profitability, reflecting an improved cost structure and increasing operating leverage. Within our Internet business, internet value-added services, which contributed 74.8% of this segment's revenues in the fourth quarter of 2025, expanded by 32.0% year over year and 16.2% quarter over quarter, enhancing earnings visibility and margin stability. In our AI and Others segment, revenue contribution increased year over year and accounted for nearly half of total revenues in the fourth quarter of 2025, while operating loss narrowed as we maintained selective investment and cost control. We ended the year with a solid cash position, providing financial flexibility to support disciplined capital allocation."
