The Cohen & Steers Limited Duration Preferred and Income Fund ( LDP ) is a closed-end fund that aims to provide its investors with a very high level of current income. The fund actually manages to do fairly well at the provision of income, as it boasts a 7.53% yield at the current share price. This is significantly higher than the yield of any of the major domestic fixed-income indices:
