ACRGF - Acreage and Medterra ink JV for broad consumer distribution

Acreage's (ACRGF) subsidiary Universal Hemp signed an agreement with Medterra CBD for enabling the former to tap into the latter's innovation pipeline, high-quality CBD, and significant e-commerce platform for immediate nationwide distribution. Medterra's subsidiary Five Farms CBD will develop a full spectrum CBD collection under The Botanist, an Acreage brand.Acreage will license The Botanist brand to Five Farms, which will manufacture, market, and sell The Botanist branded CBD products via Medterra's e-commerce platform.The Botanist branded CBD is expected to be available from 2H21.Acreage will be able to realize a low-risk, high-margin revenue stream.
