AERC - AeroClean stock jumps 28% continuing post-FDA approval rally
AeroClean (AERC) stock shot up 28% Thursday after rallying earlier in the week on news that the FDA had granted market clearance for its proprietary Purgo air purification technology. Shares of AeroClean opened at $8.75, sliding to a session low of $8.67 in late morning before jumping to a high of $12 in early afternoon. The stock recently changed hands at $11.84, up 28%, at approximately 1:25 p.m. ET. AeroClean shares have been volatile since the company announced the FDA decision, soaring 400% since last Friday’s close. The company said Monday that it had received FDA clearance for its Purgo medical-grade air sanitization technology, which it says can eliminate 99.99% of airborne microbes, including the virus that causes COVID-19.
