I never imagined I'd put out something with a title like this.
Earlier in 2021 and the end of 2020, I mostly saw opportunities to buy units, engage in buy-writes, and sell puts on SPACs.
At the time, both valuations and volatility in SPACs were quite elevated because of their notorious explosive upside.
We haven't seen many examples of that explosive upside lately and volatility and price have come down across the space.
The opportunities are now different, but it remains THE single most interesting corner of capital markets.
