- ANI Pharmaceuticals ( NASDAQ: ANIP ) said the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved its generic antibiotic trimethoprim tablets USP, 100 mg.
- Trimethoprim is an antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections.
- "As we continue to focus on bringing niche limited-competition products to market, we are pleased to announce the FDA approval and commercialization of Trimethoprim Tablets," said ANI President and CEO Nikhil Lalwani.
