Japan ( NKY:IND ) +0.34% Japan’s 10-year government bond yield fell 2 basis points to around 0.85%, heading back to its lowest levels in nearly a month amid strong demand for domestic bonds at an auction of five-year notes.

China ( SHCOMP ) +0.15% .

Hong Kong ( HSI ) -0.10%.

India ( SENSEX ) market closed. India's wholesale prices shrank by 0.52 percent year-on-year in October 2023, compared to market estimates of a 0.2 percent drop after a 0.26 percent decline in the prior month.

Australia ( AS51 ) +0.83%. Australian October Business Confidence -2 (vs. prior 0).

Australian monthly consumer confidence -2.6% to 79.9 (prior +2.9%).

New Zealand food prices drop 0.9% in October 2023, impacting Inflation.

In the U.S. on Friday, all three major indexes ended mixed,

U.S. stock futures were little changed on Tuesday as investors look ahead to the highly anticipated inflation report that could influence the economic and monetary policy outlooks: Dow -0.02% ; S&P 500 +0.03%; Nasdaq +0.18%.

Investors geared up for a key US inflation report later today that could provide clues on the path for Federal Reserve monetary policy and look ahead to highly anticipated talks between US President Joe Biden and Chinese President Xi Jinping for clues on Sino-US relations. Investors also await a slew of Chinese economic numbers this week including industrial production, retail sales and unemployment data.
