BKI - Black Knight integrates Wolters Kluwer's tech with digital mortgage closing solution
- Black Knight ( NYSE: BKI ) is enhancing its digital mortgage origination offering after the company on Thursday agreed to integrate Wolters Kluwer Compliance Solutions' eNote and eVault capabilities with its end-to-end digital closing solution, called Expedite Close.
- The integration has "closed the loop on delivering a complete and unmatched digital mortgage process," said Black Knight Origination Technologies President Rich Gagliano, adding "Lenders will no longer need to depend on multiple vendors to piece together digital closing capabilities."
- Wolters Kluwer's eVault solution supports lenders in creating, storing and assigning digital loans. For a fully digital mortgage, the borrower's promise to pay is recorded through an eNote, an original of which is stored securely in an eVault.
- The move comes roughly one week after Black Knight was said to have put its Empower loan origination software business up for sale .
