BCTX - BriaCell to take legal action against illegal stock trading

• Canadian biotech BriaCell Therapeutics ( NASDAQ: BCTX ) announced Monday that it approved plans to address the alleged illegal trading activity of its publicly traded shares, including legal action.
• “The Company believes that certain individuals and/or companies may have engaged in manipulative and/or suspected illegal trading practices that may have artificially depressed its share price,” BriaCell, which focuses on cancer immunotherapies, said.
• “By taking action to protect the interests of our shareholders, we are also protecting the interests of the Company and the tens of thousands of cancer patients in need of effective treatment options,” the company added.
• BriaCell ( BCTX ) shares have plunged ~45% over the past three months, compared to a ~8% decline in the broader biotech industry, as indicated in this graph.
