(“ CanadaOne ” or the “ Company ”) (TSXV:CONE) is pleased to announce it hascompleted a Mobile Metal Ion (MMI) soil geochemical survey overselected parts of its Abitibi East Critical MineralsProject (the “ Project ”,“ Property ” or “ AbitibiEast ”) located 60 kms east of Timmins,Ontario, Canada.
The Property is located on the western end of theworld-class Abitibi greenstone belt, central to the Timmins MiningCamp (119 Moz Au and 337 Moz Ag historical production) 1 , the Kidd CreekVolcanic Massive Sulphide (VMS) deposit (2.5 Mt Zn, Cu, Ag Proven andProbable) 2 , andthe Alexo-Dundonald nickel deposit (1,254 kt Ni, Cu, CoIndicated) 3 .
MMI Survey
Three areas of past exploration were chosen aslocations for soil sampling (see Figure 1):
Area A in the northeast corner has been explored in thepast for nickel mineralization. Surficial materials in this area aregenerally clayey soils within dense boreal forest, recent logging hasprovided access to the site.
Area B in the southwestern corner was previouslydrilled for VMS style mineralization. The area is overlain by wet claydeposits with some bedrock exposure.
Area C, also previously drilled, was explored forcopper mineralization, but returned anomalous nickel values fromultramafic rocks.
The MMI survey work is considered cursory in manyrespects as MMI’s ability to detect anomalous areas in the clayeyand sandy soils needs to be tested. If MMI can identify metalanomalies in the glacial soils in areas of known mineralization theuse of MMI will be expanded over much of the project area.
Next Steps
The MMI soil results will be reviewed when the samplesresults are received and if proven to be a valuable tool inidentifying mineralization will be used to fine tune detailed groundsurveys in 2024. The Company has also conducted geophysical surveywork which it is currently reviewing.

About Abitibi East
The Abitibi East Property is underlain by Archeanvolcanic and sedimentary rocks which are intruded by gabbroicintrusives and (Matachewan) dolerite dykes. The Project isprospectable for several different deposit model types that include: TheKambalda-type Ni-Cu-(PGE) ore deposits; bimodalmafic-ultramafic volcanic massive sulfide (VMS) deposit; and orogenicgold deposits hosted by shear zones.
The Project is located north of Iroquois Falls in anarea that contains glaciofluvial and glaciolacustrine deposits makingtraditional soil sampling difficult because the soils have beentransported by glaciers to their current locations.
MMI Technology
Mobile Metal Ion (MMI) geochemistry is a provenadvanced geochemical exploration technique known to find mineraldeposits.
It is especially well suited for deeply buried mineraldeposits. MMI measures metal ions that travel upward frommineralization to unconsolidated surface materials such soil, till,sand and so on. These mobile metal ions are released from mineralizedmaterial and travel upward toward the surface. Using careful soilsampling strategies, sophisticated chemical ligands andultra-sensitive instrumentation, enabling the measurement of theseions. After interpretation, MMI data can indicate anomalousareas.
