EBIX - Ebix's annuity exchange for 2022 saw 46% surge in premiums processed

• Helped by favorable market and interest-rate conditions, Ebix ( NASDAQ: EBIX ) said Tuesday its annuity exchange, called AnnuityNet4 (AN4), achieved record volumes last year .
• Total annuity premiums processed through AN4 of $98B in 2022, surging 46% from a year before, marked the highest ever figure since inception in 1997.
• Transactions on the platform exceeded 580K, representing 36% Y/Y growth in 2022. And the number of participants stood at 57 carrier manufacturers and over 120 distributors, including banks and clearing houses.
• AN4 represents roughly 70% of electronic annuity transactions, Ebix ( EBIX ) noted. The order-entry product connects the industry's distributors and annuity manufacturers to enable end-to-end annuity sales.
• Previously, (Aug. 19, 2022) Ebix signed up Aspida Life for annuity platform, consulting services.
