ETM - Entercom jumps 8.1% after launching BetQL network dedicated to sports betting

Radio company Entercom Communications (ETM) has jumped 8.1% following news it's launching the BetQL Audio Network, which will feature sports gambling programming. It's a timely rollout given the snowballing interest in sports betting nationwide. That launch comes out of the company's acquisition of sports data and iGaming affiliate platform QL Gaming Group. The network will be anchored by two popular daily shows: "You Better You Bet" (which has seen 670,000 monthly downloads this NFL season) and "BetQL Daily" (formerly "BetSweats"). Also as part of the launch, KEZW-AM in Denver will relaunch as "The Bet 1430AM." Entercom's portfolio of sports stations reach more than 7M listeners per week combined. And all programming will be available live and on demand via Radio.com.
