TGNA - Entercom sets deal with Tegna's Locked On Podcast Network; shares rise 3%

Entercom (ETM +3%) has entered a content and sales agreement with Locked On Podcast Network, a recent acquisition of Tegna's (TGNA -0.3%). That's a fourth recent agreement looking to tap Entercom's sports audio presence, following a marketing alliance with FanDuel; an acquisition of sports data/iGaming affiliate platform QL Gaming Group; and launching the BetQL Audio Network. It means Locked On's line up of pro and collegiate sports podcasts will be heard on Entercom's RADIO.COM by the platform's 40M monthly users. The partnership also means developing new content, including co-produced and co-branded podcasts. “We’re aggressively leveraging the value of our national dominance in sports programming and content in audio, digital and sports betting platforms and our agreement with Locked On reflects continued progress on this front," says Chief Digital Officer J.D.
