AQUA - Evoqua Water gains amid NYSE delisting notice with sale to Xylem

• Evoqua Water ( NYSE: AQUA ) rose 1% in premarket trading amid a NYSE delisting notice for its planned sale to Xylem ( NYSE: XYL ).
• The effective date for the delisting of Evoqua Water ( AQUA ) is Wednesday, according to the NYSE notice.
• The NYSE delisting comes after some investors were concerned about the deal earlier this month after a report that a Chinese antitrust scholar has raised some issues with the transaction.
• Xylem ( XYL ) in its Q1 earnings release earlier this month reiterated that the Evoqua ( AQUA ) deal i s expected to close by mid year.
• Xylem ( XYL ) agreed to acquire Evoqua Water ( AQUA ) in January in an all-stock transaction with an enterprise value of ~$7.5 billion.
