GLUU - Genpact Genworth Unitil rise on S&P index changes
Genpact Limited (G) has jumped 9% after hours following news that it's joining the S&P MidCap 400. The stock is moving in as part of a shuffle around the acquisition of Glu Mobile (GLUU). Glu is set to be acquired by Electronic Arts, and so it will exit the SmallCap 600 index. Replacing it there is Genworth Financial (GNW), more representative of the small-cap space than the mid-cap space. And so Genpact will take Genworth's place in the MidCap 400. GNW is up 5.4% postmarket. Also, Unitil (UTL) is up 6.2% after hours as its' set to join the SmallCap 600. It's taking the place of Waddell & Reed Financial (WDR), set to be acquired by Macquarie Group. The index changes are effective prior to the open of trading on Monday, May 3.
