I recently wrote an article about the grocer Axfood (AXFOF) (AXFOY), entitled Axfood Should Be One Of Your Dividend Stocks. In that article, I spent some time presenting Axfood, a company I consider market-leading in the Swedish grocery market.
Now, the time has come to take a look at the company with a significantly higher market share, but slightly less (usually) yield. Does this make it a less appealing candidate for a US or non-Swedish dividend investor?
