SNY - Intercept drops amid report from European Medicines Agency on Ocaliva

Intercept Pharmaceuticals, which agreed to be sold to Sanofi ( NASDAQ: SNY ) late last month, quickly dropped 3% amid a new report from the European Medicines Agency.
The study failed to show that Ocaliva was more effective than placebo (a dummy treatment) in terms of the number of patients whose disease worsened or who died, according to a report released on Friday.
