ITCB - Itaú CorpBanca ADSs jump after Itaú Unibanco plans offer for rest of shares

• Itaú CorpBanca ( NYSE: ITCB ) American depositary shares jumped 7.3% in Friday premarket trading after its controlling shareholder, Itaú Unibanco Holding ( NYSE: ITUB ), said it plans to offer to buy the rest of ITCB shares it doesn't already own.
• Itaú Unibanco Holding ( ITUB ), which holds 65.62% of ITCB shares, said it will offer CLP 2.00 per ITCB share . That compares with the CLP 1.77 closing price on Thursday for Itaú CorpBanca ( ITCB ) shares in Santiago trading. The offering price represents a premium of ~10% over the average trading price per share over the past 60 trading sessions, ITUB said.
• Itaú CorpBanca posted Q4 results earlier this week.
