IPHI - Marvell completes Inphi acquisition and organizes as a U.S. company

Marvell Technology (MRVL) closes its $10B cash and stock acquisition of Inphi (IPHI). The resulting combined company, using the Marvell name, is a Delaware company domiciled in the United States.Marvell says the combined company is positioned for "end-to-end technology leadership in data infrastructure."Inphi CEO Dr. Ford Tamer has been added to the board of directors, effective immediately.When Marvell reports first-quarter results on June 7, the company will provide an update on Inphi's financial contribution during the period."I am excited to welcome the Inphi team to Marvell and look forward to realizing the tremendous value creation potential of this combination for our customers, employees and shareholders.
