HUDI - Materials Sector Weekly Round-up: Ramaco Resources at the top; Nexa Resources drops on poor earnings
The S&P Materials Select Sector closed with a mild 0.34% loss, while the Materials Select Sector SPDR ETF (NYSEARCA:XLB) dipped 0.19% over the past 5-day trading session. Aluminum prices fell sharply during the trading week, extending a retreat from a 13-year high as China ramps up measures to ease a power crunch that has slowed economic growth as well as metals supply. Gold futures and sister metal silver ended the week with a loss as well, with movements in the US dollar possibly pulling them down.
