MDWT - Midwest Holding shareholders approve merger with Antarctica Capital

- Midwest Holding ( NASDAQ: MDWT ) on Wednesday said its shareholders had approved its merger agreement with Antarctica Capital.
- Antarctica Capital will be acquiring MDWT for $27/share in an all-cash deal valued at ~$100M.
- At a special meeting of shareholders, "approximately 69% of the outstanding shares voted in favor of the transaction, representing more than 99% of the votes cast," MDWT said in a statement .
- The transaction is expected to close in H2, MDWT added.
- Midwest ( MDWT ) stock earlier closed +0.1% at $26.55.
