BCTX - Moleculin investigating possible illegal trading of its shares

Moleculin ( NASDAQ: MBRX ) said that it has retained analytics firm Shareholder Intelligence Services, or ShareIntel, to investigate potential naked short selling of its shares.

The company said that information provided by ShareIntel will help it identify and mitigate illegal trading of its stock. Moleculin joins a growing list of smaller companies that are probing possible illegal trading of their shares, including CNS Pharma ( CNSP ), FSD Pharma ( HUGE ), Bright Green ( BGXX ) and BriaCell ( BCTX ).

Moleculin is expected to release its quarterly earrings report on Aug. 11.
