OTIC - Nasdaq notifies Otonomy of suspension from trading

Otonomy Inc.

  • Nasdaq has sent a letter to Otonomy ( NASDAQ: OTIC ) indicating that the company's shares would be suspended from trading on the stock exchange, effective business open of Dec. 23.
  • Post suspension on Nasdaq, the company's shares will be traded on the OTC Pink Market.
  • The stock exchange had determined to delist the company's securities as the OTIC's closing bid price was less than $0.10 per share for 10 consecutive trading days.
  • The company notified Nasdaq of its intention to withdraw from the stock exchange's hearing process on Dec. 21. Once the withdrawal from the hearing process has been made, the stock exchange delists shares two business days later.
  • OTIC shares were trading 6.69% lower pre-market.
