AVGOP - NIE: Virtus CEF That Adds Convertibles And Options To Its Equity Mix

• The AllianzGI Equity & Convertible Income Fund uses a combination of stocks, covered calls, and convertibles to provide investors with capital appreciation and current income.
• This differs from its sister CEF, the Virtus AllianzGI Diversified Income & Convertible Fund, who emphasizes the convertible part of its strategy.
• While both CEFs have provided close Total Returns, NIE would be my choice as its risk statistics are much better.  I give it a Buy recommendation for Total-Return+Yield investors.
