CERN - Oracle $28B purchase of Cerner set to close next week after all approvals received

Oracle's (NYSE:ORCL) planned purchase of Cerner (NASDAQ:CERN) is set to close next week after all regulatory approvals were received,  including European Commission. Oracle (ORCL) expects to complete the Cerner (CERN) tender offer "promptly" following the expiration of that offer at 12am EST on June 6, according to a statement. Dealreporter on Tuesday said the deal was expected to close by mid-June after obtaining its final regulator approvals.  The deadline for EC's review of the deal was today.
