ORMP - Oramed granted patent for combination therapy GLP-1 & insulin to treat diabetes

• Oramed Pharma ( NASDAQ: ORMP ) said the United States Patent and Trademark Office had granted a patent to the company titled "Methods and Compositions for Treating Diabetes."
• ( ORMP ) is up 3.5% .
• The patent is an extension to a patent previously granted in May and addresses methods and compositions for treating diabetes mellitus through oral pharmaceutical compositions comprising insulin in combination with Glucagon-like Peptide 1 (GLP-1).
• The company said it expects topline data from first Phase 3 oral insulin trial soon.
