ORC - Orchid Island Capital estimates Q2 book value per share $11.16 EPS $0.25

• Orchid Island Capital ( NYSE: ORC ) estimated its book value per share was $11.16 at June 30, 2023, down from $11.55 at March 31, 2023, the mortgage REIT that invests in Agency RMBS said Wednesday.
• Estimated GAAP EPS of $0.25 for the quarter rose from $0.09 in the prior quarter. The most recent quarter included an estimated $0.59 per share of net realized and unrealized gains on RMBS and derivative instruments.
• Q2 return on equity is estimated to be 0.8% vs. 0.84% in Q1.
• Orchid Island ( ORC ) stock rose 0.5% in Wednesday after-hours trading.
• Earlier this month, SA Analyst Diesel said Orchid Island Capital ( ORC ) looks like a yield trap.
