FANG - QEP shareholders OK Diamondback deal

QEP Resources (QEP) says its shareholders voted to approve the company's takeover by Diamondback Energy (FANG), with 78% support, according to an SEC filing.Glazer Capital, which owns a 5.7% stake in QEP, said last week that it voted against the deal, while 5.84% shareholder THRC Holdings came out in support."Diamondback Energy's purchase of QEP Resources is a steal," Daniel Jones writes in a bullish analysis of the merger published in December on Seeking Alpha.
