VNE - Qualcomm's planned purchase of Veoneer expires with no second request

Qualcomm (NASDAQ:QCOM) and SSW Partners planned purchase of Veoneer Inc.(NYSE:VNE) cleared hasn't received a second request after the initial HSR waiting period expired on Nov. 19, according to a tweet from CTFN reporter Diane Alter. Recall last month, Qualcomm, SSW have $4.5 billion deal for Veoneer. Qualcomm outbid Magna International (NYSE:MGA) for Veoneer after Magna had originally agreed to buy the company. Veoneer (VNE) neared session highs, up 0.3%.
