May 13, 2024 – TheNewswire - Houston, Texas, USA – Select Sands Corp. (“Select Sands”, “We”, or the“Company”) (TSXV:SNS ) , ( OTC:SLSDF) announces that the British Columbia Securities Commission(the “ BCSC ”) issued a cease trade order against the Company effectiveMay 8, 2024, for failing to file audited annual financial statements,management’s discussion and analysis and annual certifications forthe year ended December 31, 2023 (collectively, the “ Required Filings ”)within the time period prescribed by securities regulation. Inaddition, as a result of the BCSC cease trade order, the trading ofthe Company’s common shares on the TSX Venture Exchange was alsosuspended on May 8, 2024. The Required Filings have been delayed dueto going concern issues resulting from theshuttering of the Company’s subsidiary, Select Sands AmericaCorp ., and as further detailed in theCompany’s previous news release of April29, 2024 . Upon filing the RequiredFilings and revocation of the cease trade order, the Company willsubmit the required materials to the TSX Venture Exchange requestingthe reinstatement of trading.
