CYA - Simplify Announces an ETF Closure
The Board of Trustees (the “Board”) of Simplify Exchange Traded Funds (the “Trust”) has determined that it is in the best interests of shareholders to liquidate the Simplify Tail Risk Strategy ETF (the “Fund”), a series of the Trust, following a recommendation by the Fund’s investment adviser, Simplify Asset Management Inc.
The Board has determined to liquidate the Fund with the liquidation payment to its shareholders expected to take place on or about March 14, 2024 (“Liquidation Date”). After the close of business on March 7, 2024, the Fund will no longer accept creation orders. The last day of trading in the Fund on the NYSE Arca, Inc. will be March 7, 2024. Shareholders who do not sell their shares of the Fund before market close on March 7, 2024 will receive cash equal to the amount of the net asset value of their shares in their brokerage accounts, on or about the Liquidation Date. As calculated on the Liquidation Date, the Fund’s net asset value will reflect any costs of closing the Fund. Once the distributions are complete, the Fund will terminate.
