Standard Uranium CEO Jon Bey joined SteveDarling from Proactive to share news the company has made a strategicmove to become a project generator and recently announced anon-brokered private placement of up to $2 million.
The bulk of the funds raised will beallocated to the exploration of the company's projects inSaskatchewan.
Bey explained thatthe company has strategically shifted to a hybrid model that combinesproject generation and exploration. Standard Uranium currently holdseight projects in the Athabasca Basin, with five of them in advancedstages. The company's approach is to avoid frequent capital raisesand dilution by seeking joint venture partners for its projects.
Bey highlighted the success ofsecuring partners for projects like Sundog and Canary, with plans forsignificant exploration activities in 2024.
The flagship project, Davidson River, isstrategically positioned near NextGen Energy's recentenvironmental permit approval and is slated for extensive exploration.
