Standard Uranium CEO Jon Bey joined SteveDarling from Proactive to announce the company's decision toproceed with a non-brokered private placement, aiming to raise grossproceeds of up to $3 million. This funding will facilitate the returnto drilling activities at the company's flagship Davidson Riverproject, capitalizing on the current strength in the global uraniumsector and the increasing importance of uranium as a green energysource.
Speaking with Proactive, Beyhighlighted the significance of the upcoming drilling campaign, whichwill focus on the Davidson River project located in the southwesternuranium district of the Athabasca Basin. The 2024 drilling programwill build upon previous successes, targeting the most prospectivebasement structures and alteration zones identified to date.Additionally, new target areas within recently staked claim blockswill be explored, incorporating cutting-edge targeting vectors andmachine learning techniques.
Standard Uranium is leveraging data-driven machine learningtechniques to enhance drill targeting at Davidson River, utilizinganomaly detection, electromagnetic data mapping, and anomaly matchingbased on known world-class uranium deposits in the area. Theapplication of machine learning extends to the company's internaldrilling and geochemical databases, enhancing the efficiency andaccuracy of targeting strategies.
Furthermore, Bey mentioned the consideration of additionalgeophysical surveys over high-priority areas to further refine thetargeting strategy on the Davidson River project. With over 70kilometers of graphitic conductors, the project presents significantdiscovery potential, positioning Standard Uranium for success in itsexploration endeavors.
