Veolia Environnement (VEOEY) says it will appeal a court order mandating the suspension of its acquisition of a 29.9% stake in Suez (SZEVY) from Engie (ENGIY) and a subsequent takeover bid.The court cited a lack of consultation from Suez's social and economic committees over the deal, a ruling Veolia calls "grotesque."Veolia says the decision by the Paris court has no legal basis and does not call into question the company's purchase of the shares acquired in Suez.
