SACH - Why I Bought The 7% Yielding Sachem Capital Baby Bonds
- Sachem Capital invests in mortgages and investors can choose to invest in Sachem's debt, preferred equity or common units.
- I think the debt securities offer the best value here (for conservative investors wanting to avoid the common) as the yield is just slightly lower than the preferred dividend yield.
- I have a long position in SCCE and would be happy to add on further weakness. I also will keep an eye on the recently issued SCCF baby bond.
