WXXWY - WuXi Vaccines QC potency lab gets certification from Irish regulator

• WuXi Vaccines said it received a GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) certificate from Ireland Health Products Regulatory Authority for its QC potency lab in Dundalk, Ireland.
• WuXi Vaccines, which is a joint venture between WuXi Biologics ( OTCPK:WXXWY ) and Shanghai Hile Bio-Technology, said it was the first GMP certificate it received from the regulator and a milestone for it since weather-tight construction of the main building was finished in March 2021.
• The company said the QC potency lab became operational at its Ireland site in July 2020 as part of its vaccine manufacturing facility.
• WuXi Vaccines noted that is currently under a 20-year contract worth ~$3B with a global pharmaceutical company to help in the manufacturing of its commercial vaccine products.
