To replicate the total return of the S&P MidCap 400 Index (the Index) The Trust seeks to achieve its investment objective by holding a portfolio of the common stocks that are included in the index (the Portfolio), with the weight of each stock in the Portfolio substantially corresponding to the weight of such stock in the index. The index is composed of four hundred (400) selected stocks, all of which are listed on national stock exchanges, and span a broad range of major industry groups.
