Under normal circumstances, the fund invests primarily in non-U.S. equity securities, which may include common stocks, preferred stocks, and REITs. It may invest in companies of any size and typically invests in a number of different countries throughout the world. The fund may invest in the stocks of non-U.S. issuers directly or indirectly through depositary receipts. The portfolio may also be exposed to currencies other than the U.S. dollar.
