Grayscale Investments submitted a new application to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for a new exchange-traded fund (ETF).
This time, the ETF would be centered on Ether (CRYPTO: ETH) futures.
The ETF application is based on the Securities Act of 1933, the same regulation that governs commodities and spot Bitcoin (CRYPTO: BTC) ETFs, The Wall Street Journal reported.
