ATEN - A10 Networks +6.3% after record profits in Q3 report

A10 Networks (ATEN) is up 6.3% postmarket after beating expectations on top and bottom lines with record profits in its Q3 earnings. Revenues rose 7.1% to $56.6M, and non-GAAP gross margin came in at 77.6%. GAAP operating expenses were flat from last quarter. That ended up with record GAAP net income of $6.5M, up from $173,000 a year ago. Non-GAAP net income was also a record at $10.3M, as was EBITDA of $12.5M. “Over the past two years, we have streamlined our fixed cost structure by approximately 25% and realigned our leaner sales organization on the highest quality opportunities," says CEO Dhrupad Trivedi. "In the third quarter, this focus resulted in better than 7% organic growth, more than $6M year-over-year improvement in net income and an $8.5M improvement in Adjusted EBITDA."
