VOLVY - AB Volvo's proposes a distribution of SEK9.50
Sweden's Volvo (VOLVY) (VOLAF) is planning to distribute SEK 9.50 per share to its shareholders out of proceeds received from the sale of its Japan-based UD Trucks business to Isuzu Motors (ISUZY), a deal which was valued at about $2.3B.The distribution amount to about SEK 19B.The company plans to hold an extraordinary general meeting on June 29.Even after the distribution, the group will have resources to invest in future technologies and business models that drive the transition to fossil-free transports, said AB Volvo's Chairman Carl-Henric Svanberg.
