PHILADELPHIA, Feb. 21, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Aberdeen Emerging Markets Equity Income Fund, Inc. (the "Fund") (NYSE American: AEF) held its Annual Meeting of Shareholders (the "Meeting") on February 21, 2019. At the Meeting, shareholders of the Fund voted to re-elect two Class II Directors to the Board of Directors.
As of the record date, December 31, 2018, there were 59,782,149 outstanding shares of the Fund. 88.92% of the outstanding shares were voted at the Meeting representing a quorum.
