ACU - Acme United acquires Med-Nap assets

Acme United ([[ACU]] +4.2%) acquired the assets of Med-Nap, manufacturer of alcohol prep pads, alcohol wipes, benzalkonium chloride wipes, antiseptic wipes, castile soap, and lens cleaning products, for an undisclosed purchase price.In 2020, Med-Nap has estimated revenues of ~$4.9M and EBITDA of ~$1M.Acquisition is expected to be accretive from 1Q21."The acquisition of Med-Nap's business provides our company with an FDA-registered manufacturing facility in the U.S. for antiseptic wipes and pads that are used in all our first aid kits and refills. We look forward to expanding production to fulfill current requirements as well as that of future new products and customers," Chairman and CEO Walter C. Johnsen commented.
