ADUS - Addus HomeCare agrees to acquire Armada Skilled Home Health and Hospice

Home care services provider Addus HomeCare (ADUS) has entered into definitive agreement to acquire Armada Skilled Home Health and Hospice in New Mexico for a cash consideration of ~$29M. Subject to regulatory approval, the transaction is expected to close on or around 1 August 2021.The proposed acquisition will cover Armada Skilled Home Health of New Mexico, Armada Hospice of New Mexico and Armada Hospice of Santa Fe. Armada currently serves an average daily census of ~1,100 patients for home health services and 100 patients for hospice care. Commenting on the deal, Dirk Allison, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Addus HomeCare, said, " This proposed acquisition follows our strategy to grow our clinical services offering in home health and enhances our ability to provide all three levels of home care in New Mexico.
