SNCAF - Aecon JV wins C$1.3B replacement contract from Bruce Power

Aecon ( OTCPK:AEGXF ) said Thursday its Shoreline Power joint venture with SNC-Lavalin ( OTCPK:SNCAF ) and United Engineers & Constructors was awarded a C$1.3B component replacement contract by Bruce Power for four units at the Bruce Nuclear Generating Station in Ontario.

Aecon ( OTCPK:AEGXF ) said its share of the contract is being added to its Construction segment backlog in Q2.

Construction expected to begin in Q1 2025, with completion anticipated in 2032.

Aecon ( OTCPK:AEGXF ) said the award for Bruce Power's four remaining units comes as Shoreline Power and Bruce Power also achieved substantial completion on the Unit 6 refurbishment on-time and on-budget, remaining on track to return the unit to service in Q4 2023.
