The market reaction has validated our thesis: following the sharp derating we highlighted, Aegon's (AEG) (AEGOF) stock has rebounded in line with our ' Buy Confirmed ' call (Fig. 1). While we did not publish on Q1 results, they were supportive of our view, and the positive read-across from the Corebridge VA deal further strengthens the case.
