AGESF - ageas: Recent Developments Support Its Income And Value Appeal

As I’ve covered in previous articles , one of the most interesting income plays in the European insurance sector is, in my opinion, ageas SA/NV ( AGESY ). It offers a high-dividend yield and also has some good growth prospects, leading to a strong share price return from the beginning of the year on a total return basis. As shown in the next graph, ageas (white line) is up by about 30%, including dividends, since the beginning of this year and has outperformed both the European insurance sector and the overall European stock market during the same period, a strong performance that has been supported by the company’s positive operating momentum and its M&A initiatives. ...
