Shares of Air Lease Corporation ( AL ) have been a strong performer over the past year as the aircraft lessor has benefited from solid demand, well-structured contract maturities, and an insurance settlement. Plus, Boeing ( BA ) is steadily working through past issues and increasing production, which should lead to more deliveries to AL, allowing it to fulfill its backlog and increase leasing revenue. I last covered shares in October , rating the stock a Hold, but with shares gaining 27% while the market has added 10%, this view was conservative.
